Gusty southwest winds will occur again Friday while relative
humidities drop to 15 percent or lower. Gusty winds and low
relative humidity combined with dry fuels will result in critical
fire weather conditions for portions of east central Utah and
southwest Colorado.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 290 Paradox
Valley Forecast Area.
* WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for the rapid ignition,
growth, and spread of fires through this evening and again
Friday afternoon and evening. Agricultural burning is strongly
discouraged.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Dense
Fog Advisory...which is in effect until 8 AM CDT this morning.
* VISIBILITIES...One quarter mile or less at times.
* TIMING...through 8 AM this morning.
* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel difficult. Be
prepared for the possibility of rapidly deteriorating
visibility, and to use extra caution at intersections,
railroad crossings, and school bus stops.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
