NWS Glasgow MT
Flash Flood Watch issued June 28 at 4:06AM MDT until June 29 at 6:00AM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT
Another round of thunderstorms will track out of central Montana
and across northeast Montana this evening. Over an inch of rain
over a short period of time may occur with these storms which can
lead to localized flooding. Locations in and near the Little
Rocky Mountains and along roads that typically get washed out with
heavy, intense rains are of particular concern, as well as poor
drainage areas.
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* A portion of northeast Montana, including the following
counties: Phillips, Valley, Daniels, Roosevelt, and Sheridan.
* Through late tonight.
* Thunderstorms may be accompanied by over an inch of rain in
less than an hour.
* This heavy, intense rain could cause roads to wash out in
places.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
