* WHAT...Heavy snow above 1500 feet and light to moderate snow
below 1500 feet expected. Warning level accumulations of 6 to 12
inches expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches
expected in the advisory area.
* WHERE...Areas in the warning include portions of Highway 199
near the Collier Tunnel, Obrien, and Hayes Hill; portions of
Interstate 5 including Sexton Pass; and rural portions of
eastern Curry and Josephine County. Areas in the advisory area
include portions of Interstate 5 from Grants Pass north to Sunny
Valley, and portions of the Illinois Valley including
Wilderville, Selma, Cave Junction.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 10 PM Friday to 4 AM
PST Sunday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 10 AM
Saturday to 4 AM PST Sunday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
impossible in the Warning Area. Any slushy or wet untreated
roadways Saturday night will likely freeze.

This will result in significant snow accumulations of 4 to 8+
inches over the east slopes of the Oregon and Washington
Cascades, and portions of the Blue Mountains. Lesser snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected across the Columbia
Basin and other valley regions. Blowing snow will also be
possible across portions of the Columbia Basin in Washington and
adjacent Kittitas and Yakima Valleys. The widespread accumulating
snow and blowing snow will lead to widespread hazardous travel
conditions through the weekend.
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
12 inches possible.
* WHERE...Grande Ronde Valley, Wallowa County, Northern Blue
Mountains of Oregon, Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and
Ochoco- John Day Highlands.
* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to
