Flood Warning issued February 22 at 11:05PM CST expiring February 23 at 5:00AM CST by NWS Huntsville AL
The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a
* Flood Warning for...
Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...
Northeastern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama...
Central DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama...
* Until 500 AM CST Saturday.
* At 1057 PM CST, local emergency management and law enforcement
reported that heavy rain has resulted in flooded and washed out
roads along the higher terrain of the Cumberland Plateau,
including areas along Lake Guntersville and Buck's Pocket State
Parks. Low water crossings will likely be flooded and extremely
hazardous. Additional periods of light to moderate rain is
expected to continue overnight, further exacerbating these issues.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Scottsboro, Guntersville, Rainsville, Bridgeport, Henagar,
Stevenson, Sylvania, Fyffe, Hollywood and Powell.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

NWS Pendleton OR
Winter Storm Warning issued February 22 at 9:51PM PST expiring February 27 at 4:00AM PST by NWS Pendleton OR
A prolonged snow event is expected to impact much of the region
beginning Saturday night through early Wednesday morning. An
upper level low will set up off the Washington coast. Abundant
moisture streaming over a stationary surface boundary will
support significant storm total accumulations. Accumulations may
be tempered by marginal afternoon surface temperatures and light
continuous snow, particularly for the Columbia Basin, Blue
Mountain Foothills and the Yakima and Kittitas Valleys.
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to
18 inches expected.
* WHERE...East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.
* WHEN...From 4 PM Saturday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or
evening commute.
A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

continuous snow, particularly for the Columbia Basin, Blue
Mountain Foothills and the Yakima and Kittitas Valleys.
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8
inches possible.
* WHERE...Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Foothills of the
Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through late Tuesday night.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue
to monitor the latest forecasts.
