Rough seas continue to affect the offshore Lower Texas coastal
waters due to the interaction of high and low pressure. While
winds have subsided to moderate to fresh levels, fetch across the
Gulf will keep swells elevated. Therefore, the Small Craft
Advisory has been extended for the Gulf of Mexico waters from 20
to 60 nautical miles offshore.
* WINDS...Northeast at 15 to 20 knots.
* SEAS...5 to 8 feet.
A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Gila County in east central Arizona...
* Until 515 PM MST Tuesday.
* At 507 PM MST, water levels along Tonto Creek were only slowly
falling with stages recorded at 4.74 feet. Creek levels will
gradually decrease into early next week, but will remain at levels
impacting unbridged water crossings. No out of bank flooding will
occur, however the creek may not passable on roads built through
the river bottom.
* Impacted road crossings include: A Crossing, Bar X Crossing, and
Store Crossing. Other locations not listed may also be impacted.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tonto
Basin.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* At 8 PM Saturday the stage was 572.3 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 570 feet.
* At 572 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands...fields
and pastures along the river upstream and downstream from the gage
behind Plant Hammond. The water reaches a low lying portion of a
parking lot near the intakes behind the plant. The boat ramp near
the intakes and a small portion of an access road near and under
the Georgia Highway 100 bridge will be under two feet of water.

The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Tuesday April 02.
* At 07 PM Saturday the stage was 40.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 40.5 feet on Friday March 22.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage and will continue rising to near
40.5 feet by Friday March 22. The river will fall below flood stage
Tuesday April 02.
* At 40.5 feet...In Missouri, the boat fabrication factory north of
Caruthersville is mostlly under water. Some of the floodwall at
Caruthersville has a foot of water against it. Access road to the
grain elevator northest of Huffman, Arkansas is covered. West end
of Bradley Road in Lauderdale County, Tennessee is flooded.

* Impact...At 36.0 feet...Water approaches houses on Erickson and West
Lakeview near Wolf Lake.
