Special Weather Statement issued April 23 at 5:09PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY
At 507 PM, strong thunderstorms extended from northern Bollinger
County, to the Perryville Missouri area, east into western Jackson
County. The storms were moving slowly east, northeast 15 to 20
mph. Small hail was reported near Perryville at 505 PM.
These storms will continue through 600 PM. They will likely
produce small hail and very heavy rainfall that may lead to some
isolated flooding issues. Stay tuned for additional statements
should the heavy rains persist.
