NWS Mount Holly NJ
Flood Advisory issued May 8 at 2:24AM EDT until May 8 at 3:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 221 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavier showers within a
narrow corridor continues to move across much of the advisory area.
Heavy rain at times is occurring, with radar estimating up to 1.5
inches of rain has fallen in some areas. The runoff from the
repeated heavier showers will result in minor flooding in the
advisory area.
Some locations that could experience flooding include...
West Chester, Gloucester City, Chester, Deptford, Voorhees, West
Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Coatesville, Bellmawr, Yeadon,
Westtown, Woodbury, Pitman, Downingtown, Berlin, Folcroft,
Swarthmore and Paulsboro.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
A Flood Advisory means stream flows are elevated, or ponding of
water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

NWS Mount Holly NJ
Flood Advisory issued May 8 at 2:48AM EDT until May 8 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has extended the
* Flood Advisory for...
Camden County in southern New Jersey...
Northern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...
Central Chester County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 500 AM EDT.
* At 246 AM EDT, Doppler radar continued to indicate heavier showers
within a narrow corridor continuing to move across much of the
advisory area. Heavy rain at times is still occurring, with radar
estimating up to 1.5 inches of rain has already fallen in some
areas. The runoff from the repeated heavier showers will result in
minor flooding in the advisory area.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include...

NWS Gray ME
Freeze Warning issued May 8 at 2:58AM EDT until May 9 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS Gray ME
With cold, dry high pressure building in tonight we expect the
temperature to drop to near or below freezing for most of the
region. Coastal areas have just begun the growing season and will
be advised to protect sensitive plants. Areas away from the coast
are also expected to fall below freezing, though the growing
season has not yet begun there.
The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Freeze Warning,
which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Thursday.
* Temperatures...Lows in the lower 30s.
* Timing...early Thursday morning.
* Impacts...Freezing temperatures could harm or kill sensitive
vegetation.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.
