NWS Las Vegas NV
Flood Advisory issued May 10 at 12:39AM PDT until May 10 at 2:45AM PDT by NWS Las Vegas NV
The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Northeastern San Bernardino County in southern California...
South central Clark County in southern Nevada...
* Until 245 AM PDT.
* At 1238 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain creating
rainfall rates of over an inch per hour. This rain will create
running water in area washes and could create driving hazards,
especially along Highway 95 between Searchlight and Interstate 40.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Laughlin, Searchlight and Cal-Nev-Ari.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
