* Forecast...The Washita River will rise above flood stage early
Friday afternoon and crest near 22.2 feet mid Sunday morning. The
Washita River will fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet...Campgrounds in the Anadarko City Park and
nearby low areas are flooded. Floodwaters damage farm property and
block many rural roads along the Washita River in eastern Caddo and
western Grady counties...and could breach farm levees.

19.1 feet Sunday afternoon before rising again to near 20.5 feet
Monday afternoon.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, widespread flooding of agricultural lands
occurs. County roads south of Beggs become impassable including
Webster Road. Some county roads northwest of Okmulgee are covered
by water.

At 803 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located 60 nm southeast of
Port Aransas , moving east at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large destructive hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets. Large hail could
result in personal injury and significant structural
damage.
Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, large destructive hail, high waves,
dangerous lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

At 807 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Ellerslie to 25 miles south of
Amelia to 38 miles southwest of Cocodrie. Movement was northeast at
40 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Houma, Thibodaux, Gonzales, Donaldsonville, Napoleonville, Lockport,
Sorrento, Mathews, Schriever, Chauvin, Dulac, Supreme, Raceland,
Chackbay, Montegut, Bayou Cane, Cocodrie, Gray, South Vacherie and
Paincourtville.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County.
Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and
livestock should be moved to higher ground. North 5th Street in

off access to a nearby residence.

At 821 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Charenton to near
Patterson to 16 miles south of Amelia. Movement was northeast at 40
mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Morgan City, Franklin, Patterson, Berwick, Stephensville, Bayou
Vista, Patterson Memorial Airport, Amelia and Pierre Part.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

of Halstead closes around 27.2 feet.

flood water on McCright Drive behind Rippamonti Field. Water flows
over Smith Road, and Pozzi Road begins to flood. Flooding occurs in
Timmys Crossing. Water in the old riverbed will cross under the
railroad tracks close to Parsifal and US Business 59, then water will
start ponding behind the structures facing Parsifal.

across Zion National Park, even as the rain decreases in intensity.

Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Dry
washes, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a

At 735 AM MDT, heavy rainfall was reported earlier this morning
across the southern Washington County area including St. George.
This heavy rain will continue to cause urban and small stream
flooding in the advisory area.
Area rivers and streams will continue to run very high...along with
normally dry washes.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St George, Washington, Hurricane, Santa Clara, La Verkin, Ivins,
Toquerville, Leeds, Virgin, Motoqua, Pintura, Bloomington, Gunlock,
Veyo, Snow Canyon State Park and Goldstrike.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Mansfield TX from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 930 AM CDT.
* At 858 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 52 nm southwest of East Breaks 228 to 57 nm east of
Port Mansfield Cut to 49 nm east of Laguna Madre, moving east at 25
knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and large hail.
SOURCE...Buoy. NOAA Buoy 42020 reported a 35 knot gust as the
southern edge of the line passed through at 8 AM.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
structural damage.
* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts to 40 knots, large hail, high waves, dangerous lightning,
and heavy rain are possible with these storms.
