* At 510 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Rotenberger
Wildlife Refuge, or 13 miles south of Lake Harbor. This storm was
nearly stationary. Additional strong storms ere forming near Big
Cypress Seminole.
* Winds in excess of 45 mph possible with these storms.
* Locations impacted include...
Holey Land Wildlife Refuge, Big Cypress Seminole Reservation,
Rotenberger Wildlife Refuge, Miccosukee Indian Reservation,
Miccosukee Service Plaza, Big Cypress National Preserve and West
Broward Rec. Area On Alligator Alley.
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Special Weather Statement issued May 10 at 5:20PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 519 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bally, or 15
miles south of Allentown, moving east at 30 mph. This storm produced
nearly an inch of rainfall at Reading Regional Airport in thirty
minutes.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Pottstown, Lansdale, East Norriton, Quakertown, Perkasie, Doylestown,
Hatboro, Souderton, Bedminster, Ambler, Birdsboro, Collegeville,
Jenkintown, Chalfont, Trappe, Hatfield, East Greenville, New Hope,
Dublin and Abington.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

The National Weather Service in OXNARD has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Central San Luis Obispo County in southwestern California...
* Until 430 PM PDT.
* At 225 PM PDT, Doppler RADAR indicated showers and scattered
thunderstorm with heavy rain over east-central San Luis Obispo
County. These storms were moving west near 10 mph and will move
into the San Luis Obispo County mountains by 245 PM. RADAR
estimated rainfall rates have been locally up to one inch per
hour. This will cause small stream and arroyo flooding as well as
some roadway flooding in the advisory area.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Black Mountain...
and Carrizo Plain.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

miles west of The Pines Rec Area, or 24 miles southwest of Glasgow,
moving southeast at 35 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include...
The Pines Rec Area, Hell Creek Rec Area, Rock Creek Rec Area, The
Bentonite Plant and Haxby.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
