At 608 PM CDT, a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts and wind gust to 34 knots were located along a line
extending from 13 nm northeast of Eugene Island 189 to 12 nm east of
Ship Shoal 295, moving northeast at 25 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats... damage
vessels and oil rigs... and create suddenly higher waves.
Make sure all on board are in a secure location and wearing
life jackets. Waterspouts can become tornadoes if they move
onshore. Keep abreast of the situation. Expect wind gusts
in excess of 34 knots and suddenly higher waves. Boats
could sustain damage or capsize. Make sure all on board are
wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible.

Reservoir.
Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

At 628 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and
waterspouts. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending
from 6 nm south of Caillou Bay to 17 nm east of Ship Shoal 198,
moving northeast at 35 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
This strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30
knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine
warning may eventually be required.

Waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...
At 756 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Chokoloskee. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Valley County in northeastern Montana...
* Until 645 PM MDT.
* At 558 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Tampico, or 17 miles north of Glasgow, moving southeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Glasgow, Nashua, Fort Peck, Fort Peck Marina, Tampico, Duck Creek
Rec Area, St. Marie, Vandalia, Park Grove and Whatley.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
If on or near Fort Peck Lake, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
