* Several waves of showers and thunderstorms with very heavy
rainfall rates could produce several additional inches of
rainfall in a short period of time leading to rapid runoff and
flash flooding.
* Given recent rainfall leading to saturated grounds, additional
rainfall will bring greater potential for flooded roadways and
overflowing creeks and streams.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
