NWS Honolulu HI
Flash Flood Watch issued June 26 at 3:16AM HST until June 26 at 4:00PM HST by NWS Honolulu HI
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Kauai, Niihau and Oahu.
* Through this afternoon
* Low pressure northwest of the islands will continue to draw
abundant moisture over Oahu and Kauai county, while also
providing instability. The low will support periods of rain,
sometimes heavy, and a chance of thunderstorms. With abundant
rainfall having already soaked some areas in the watch area,
additional heavy rain could lead to flash flooding.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flash
flooding. Flash flooding is LIFE THREATENING. Do not cross fast
flowing water in your vehicle or on foot.
Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action if a Flash
Flood Warning is issued. If you experience heavy rain or rising
water, head to higher ground immediately.
