Winter Storm Watch issued December 1 at 7:00PM EST until December 3 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Gray ME
...A LONG DURATION WINTER STORM WILL BRING TWO ROUNDS OF SNOW TO
PORTIONS OF THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY...
.A complex area of low pressure will continue to develop off the
southern New England coastline tonight. Snow has spread across
southern New Hampshire and will continue to creep north in the
Lakes Region and southwestern Maine this evening. The snow may be
heavy at times along and near the New Hampshire/Massachusetts
border, where snowfall rates of an inch per hour are possible.
Snow is expected to decrease in intensity during the day on
Monday with another round of heavier snow possible Monday night
into Tuesday. This is primarily forecast to affect western Maine
south of the mountains, and possibly eastern portions of New
Hampshire.
Due to the long duration nature of this winter storm,
storm total snowfall amounts will continue to be challenging to
forecast. However, the prolonged period of snow will lead to
hazardous wintry driving conditions lasting through Tuesday.
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations 6 or more
inches possible.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Maine.
* WHEN...From midnight EST tonight through Tuesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Heavy snow could make travel difficult. This could
affect the morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS....Additional significant snowfall is
possible Monday night into Tuesday, but confidence is only
moderate.
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Winter Storm Warning issued December 1 at 6:00PM CST until December 1 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Green Bay WI
...SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH THIS EVENING...
.A strong low pressure system tracking east over southern Lower
Michigan, will track to eastern sections of the Great Lakes
tonight. Widespread light to moderate snow will begin to taper
off across central and eastern Wisconsin later this evening. As
temperatures fall later tonight, any water untreated roadways may
refreeze into black ice.
Sustained north to northeast winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts of
20 to 30 mph are expected most of northeast Wisconsin into this
evening before subsiding overnight. The gusty winds will result
in some blowing and drifting of the snow. The gusty winds could
also result in the breakage of trees that become covered in wet
snow, which could result in additional power outages.
Light snow showers will end this evening with little additional
accumulation.

Winter Weather Advisory issued December 1 at 6:00PM CST until December 1 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Green Bay WI
...SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS TO GRADUALLY DIMINISH THIS EVENING...
.A strong low pressure system tracking east over southern Lower

NWS Albany NY
Special Weather Statement issued December 1 at 7:50PM EST by NWS Albany NY
Bands of heavy snow have been moving across the eastern Mohawk
Valley, Schoharie County, the northeastern Catskills,
Helderbergs, Capital Region, Hudson Valley of Greene and Columbia
Counties, the northern Taconics and the Berkshires this evening.
Snowfall rates have been one to two inches per hour at times and
visibility is being reduced to one quarter mile or less. Based on
radar trends and model guidance, periods of heavy snowfall will
continue over the next few hours.
Travel is highly discouraged through the late evening, as the
combination of snow covered roads and low visibility will make for
dangerous travel conditions. If you must travel, be sure to allow
for extra time to reach your destination.
