Satellite and surface observations show areas of fog developing
across Southeast Georgia and portions of Northeast Florida early
this morning. The fog is expected to expand in coverage through
daybreak and possibly becoming dense at times with visibilities
1/4 mile or less.
Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing conditions this
morning. Visibilities could vary greatly over shortly distances.
If dense fog becomes widespread enough, a Dense Fog Advisory will
be issued.
If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.

minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
McKittrick, Derby Acres, Twisselman, and Highway 58 west of
McKittrick.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above
normal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at 5:40
AM. The next high tide at Bowley Bar is at 7:01 AM.

At 257 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from 16 nm south of D Tower to near Northwest Cape Sable,
moving southeast at 10 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

Coastal Flood Advisory issued April 6 at 2:58AM EDT until April 6 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Wakefield VA
* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways.
* WHERE...Dorchester County.
* WHEN...Until 5 AM EDT early this morning.
* IMPACTS...Shallow flooding is expected in the most vulnerable
locations near the waterfront and shoreline resulting in a low
threat of property damage. Expect up to one foot of water
above ground level in low lying, vulnerable areas. Some roads
and low lying property including parking lots, parks and lawns
near the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
