Special Weather Statement issued April 6 at 3:33AM EDT by NWS Gray ME
There will be an elevated potential for fire spread across parts
of southern and central New Hampshire and western Maine during
the afternoon hours today. Temperatures well into the 50s to lower
60s will contribute to low relative humidity values of 15 to 20
percent. Additionally, breezy winds around 15 to 20 mph may lead
to conditions favorable for fire spread where surface cover such
as fine grasses, leaves, and other brush are dry.
