Highland County in western Virginia...
* Until 545 AM EDT.
* At 503 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 miles southeast of Mill Creek to near Cass Scenic
Railroad to 6 miles northeast of Addison (Webster Springs), moving
southeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and very steep seas could damage vessels
and will pose an increased risk of capsizing.

At 522 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 15 miles south of Franklin to 7 miles south of
Monterey to 6 miles northeast of Marlinton, moving southeast at 80
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.
Locations impacted include...
Monterey, Hightown, Clover Creek, Doe Hill, Head Waters, Mill Gap,
New Hampden, Liberty, Williamsville, Palo Alto, Mustoe, Mcdowell,
Blue Grass, Possum Trot, Vanderpool, Sirons Mill and Bolar.
