At 858 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from near Raccoon Point to near Mouth Of The Potomac
River, moving southeast at 40 knots.
Locations impacted include...
Smith Island, Crisfield, Mouth Of The Potomac River, Deep Hole,
Nanticoke River Mouth, Southwest Middle Grounds, Ewell, Point
Lookout, Tangier Sound, Honga River, Point No Point, The Targets,
Bivalve, Richland Point Buoy and Deal Island.
Mariners can expect gusty winds and locally higher waves, and
lightning strikes. Boaters, especially those in small vessels,
should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

Havasu and Fort Mohave. In southeast California, Cadiz Basin,
Death Valley National Park, Eastern Mojave Desert, Owens
Valley, San Bernardino County-Upper Colorado River Valley, and
White Mountains of Inyo County.

increased risk of flash flooding. The primary impacts for
eastern San Bernardino County and the Colorado River Valley will

The Flood Warning continues for
the South Sulphur River Near Cooper.
* Until further notice...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 17.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
stage at 17.5 feet.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Minor out of bank flooding will occur. A
few rural roads will begin to flood. Minor flooding will occur to
farm and ranch land adjacent to the river.
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The Flood Warning continues for the Guadalupe River Near
Bloomington.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast: The river will continue to fall and is expected to be

* At 20.0 feet Minor lowland flooding occurs, with the flow reaching
the right flood plain near the Invista Plant near Bloomington.

Summersville, Ansted, Clendenin, Gauley Bridge, Glen, Pinch,
Elkview, Coal Fork, Craigsville, Swiss, Indore, Bentree, Bickmore,
Drennan, Pond Gap, Kesslers Cross Lanes, Mount Nebo, Canvas and
Nettie.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
