NWS Green Bay WI
Special Weather Statement issued April 9 at 12:47PM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI
Scattered snow showers continued to develop across the area this
afternoon. Some of the snow showers will produce a brief burst of
heavy snow, which may result in the visibility dropping as low as
1/4 mile for a short time. Although air temperatures will be
several degrees above freezing, the bursts of snow could result in
a temporary accumulation of slush on roadways and slippery travel
conditions. Anyone driving this afternoon should be prepared for
the brief reductions in visibility and possibility of slush on the
roads. Be sure to slow down and maintain plenty of distance
between your vehicle and others.
The snow showers will begin to diminish by late afternoon.
