The combination of low relative humidity and gusty winds will result
in an increased fire danger across the lower Maryland eastern Shore
Friday. Relative humidity values will drop to around 30 percent,
accompanied by northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45
mph.
Residents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential
ignition source...including machinery... cigarettes...and matches.
Be sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses
and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly.

* Until 545 PM CDT.
* At 458 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Bedias to near Montgomery to 6
miles southwest of Brenham, moving east at 45 mph. These storms
have had a history of producing quarter sized hail.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Conroe, Huntsville, Brenham, Navasota, Hempstead, Willis, Prairie
View, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Washington, Waller, Panorama
Village, Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, New Waverly, Pine Island,
Coldspring, Point Blank, Montgomery and Stagecoach.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away
from windows. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

miles northwest of Macune, or near Chireno, moving east at 10 mph.
Another strong storm was located about 7 miles southeast of
Nacogdoches, and was drifting slowly east.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include...
San Augustine, Melrose, Macune, Chireno and Denning.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information

and very steep and hazardous seas 10 to 12 ft. For the Small
Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 kt and steep seas 6 to 10
ft. For the Hazardous Seas Watch, very steep and hazardous seas
10 to 11 ft possible.
* WHERE...For the warning, between 5 and 10 NM from about Gold
Beach southward. The Small Craft Advisory is for the remainder
of the area. The Hazardous Seas Watch is for areas south of
Nesika Beach between 5 and 10 NM from the coast.
* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 11 PM PDT this
evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM PDT Sunday.
For the Hazardous Seas Watch, from Friday afternoon through
late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or damage
vessels. Bar crossing will become especially treacherous. Gusty
winds and steep seas will pose a significant hazard to small
craft.

At 517 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 13 miles northwest of Huntsville to 6 miles
southwest of New Waverly to near Prairie View, moving east at 45
mph. This storm has had a history of producing quarter sized hail.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Conroe, Huntsville, Hempstead, Willis, Prairie View, Pinehurst, The
Woodlands, Waller, Panorama Village, Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, New
Waverly, Pine Island, Coldspring, Point Blank, Montgomery,
Stagecoach, Riverside, Todd Mission and Huntsville State Park.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away
from windows. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.

At 536 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Hearne to near Snook to near Giddings, moving
east at 45 mph. These storms have had a history of producing quarter
sized hail.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Conroe, Huntsville, Willis, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Panorama
Village, Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, New Waverly, Coldspring, Point
Blank, Montgomery, Stagecoach, Riverside, Huntsville State Park, Lake
Conroe Dam, Crabbs Prairie, Oakhurst and Evergreen.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away
from windows. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility to
less than a quarter of a mile.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 656 PM EDT, a band of heavy snow was along
a line extending from near Harrison Valley to Clearfield to near
Northern Cambria and moving east at 45 MPH.
THIS BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR...
Harrison Valley around 700 PM EDT.
Westfield around 705 PM EDT.
Patton and Gaines around 710 PM EDT.
Prince Gallitzin State Park, North Philipsburg and Philipsburg
around 715 PM EDT.
Wellsboro, Blandburg and Keeneyville around 725 PM EDT.
Moshannon, Clarence and Snow Shoe around 730 PM EDT.
For those driving on Interstate 80, this includes areas between the
Dubois and Mile Run exits, specifically from mile markers 98 to 193.
This includes Interstate 99 between mile markers 15 and 53...and from
mile markers 55 to 85.
