HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Schleicher and east central Crockett Counties, including
the following locations... Us-190 Near The Crockett-
Sutton County Line and I-10 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line.
This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 368 and 379.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

At 159 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Grain Valley, moving east at 30 mph.
Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Oak Grove,
Odessa, Lake Lotawana, Lake Tapawingo, Mayview, Lake Lafayette, Bates
City and Tarsney Lakes.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 17 and
44.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
