miles southwest of Bogalusa, moving east at 50 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Picayune, Sun, Mcneil and Bush.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

At 303 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 25 nm east of Palm Beach to 20 nm
east of Hillsboro Beach, moving east at 10 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO LOW HUMIDITIES AND STRONG WINDS...
.Strong southwest to west winds will combine with low humidities
and a moderately unstable atmosphere to result in critical fire
weather conditions this afternoon over the East Central Plains.
High temperatures will be near normal however.
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM MDT
this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...East Central Plains. Critical conditions are
expected to develop by early afternoon and persist until early
evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest to west 25 to 35 mph with gusts to
around 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Ranging from 10 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

waterspouts was located 10 nm northeast of Ship Shoal 198, or 28 nm
southwest of Isle Derniers, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
This a strong thunderstorm will likely produce winds to around 30

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
Make sure all on board are in a secure location and wearing

At 257 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 35 nm southeast of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi
River, moving east at 30 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
Make sure all on board are in a secure location and wearing
life jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots and
suddenly higher waves. Boats could sustain damage or
capsize. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
Return to safe harbor if possible. Large hail could result

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.
