* At 811 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located near Naples, moving east at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
Naples, Vanderbilt Beach, Bonita Shores and Marco Island.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

At 818 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Naples, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Naples, Marco Island, Golden Gate Estates, Ave Maria and Cape Romano.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into a
small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

An area of low clouds and fog is currently affecting portions of
northern Douglas and northwestern Bayfield counties this morning,
including highways 2 and 53 just south of Superior. Motorists
should prepare for rapidly changing visibilities over short
distances, with visibilities as low as 1 mile possible at times.
Slow down and allow plenty of distance between vehicles. The fog
will gradually diminish through the morning hours.

* At 849 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking a strong thunderstorm over Golden Gate, or near Naples,
moving east at 15 mph.
* Small hail, funnel clouds, and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph possible
with this storm.
* Locations impacted include...
Naples, Golden Gate Estates, Belle Meade, Naples Manor, Golden
Gate, East Naples, Lely Resort, West Toll Gate On Alligator Alley,
Vineyards, North Naples, Lely, South Blocks Golde, Fakahatchee
Strand State Preserve, Picayune Strand State Forest, Intersection
I-75 And Everglades Blvd and Miles City.
This activity was located in an environment favorable for the
formation of funnel clouds. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio and
local media for additional updates and possible warnings.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
occurs in the woodlands along the river upstream and downstream
from the gage on the U.S. Highway 221 bridge. The water reaches
the top of the public boat ramp by the bridge. Flood waters expand
in low lying areas in south Montgomery County around 1.5 miles
upstream from the gage. The water will begin to cover portions of
Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Minor flooding continues in the woodlands
along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the U.S.
Highway 221 bridge. The water covers the low portion and entrance
of Towns Bluff Lane by the bridge. The public boat ramp is under
two feet of water. Flood waters expand further into south
Montgomery County around 1.5 miles upstream from the gage. The
water will be one to two feet deep over portions of Three Rivers
Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Minor flooding expands into the woodlands
along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the U.S.
Highway 221 bridge. The water will be one to two feet deep over
portions of Towns Bluff Lane by the bridge. Flood waters continue
to expand further into south Montgomery County around 1.5 miles
upstream from the gage. The water will be 2 to 4 feet over large
portions of Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle
Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Minor flooding expands further into the
woodlands along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on
the U.S. Highway 221 bridge. Flood waters will completely cover
Towns Bluff Lane by the bridge and begin to flood the slab
foundations of the elevated homes. Flood waters expand further
into south Montgomery County around 1.5 miles upstream from the
gage. The water will be 4 to 6 feet deep over large portions of
Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding expands upstream and
downstream from the Highway 221 bridge. Flood waters near 3 feet
deep cover Towns Bluff Lane and flood the slab foundations of the
elevated homes. Flooding expands further into Montgomery County
with the water 5 to 7 feet deep over large portions of Three
Rivers Lane...Altamaha River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road. The water
reaches the top of boat ramps and parking lots will begin to flood
in Towns Bluff Park and along the end of Uvalda Landing Road in
Jeff Davis County.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins. Significant
flooding occurs upstream and downstream from the Highway 221
bridge. Flood waters will be near 4 feet deep on Towns Bluff Lane
and flood the concrete slab foundations of the elevated homes.
Flooding expands further into Montgomery county with the water 6
to 8 feet deep over large portions of Three Rivers Lane...Altamaha
River Road and Ogle Sandbar Road. The parking lot at Towns Bluff

At 854 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 15 nm west of Naples, moving southeast at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Naples, Vanderbilt Beach, Bonita Shores and Marco Island.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Red River at East Grand Forks affecting Polk and Grand Forks
Counties.
Red River at Oslo affecting Walsh, Marshall, Polk and Grand Forks
Counties.
Red River at Pembina affecting Kittson and Pembina Counties.
Red River at Drayton affecting Marshall, Kittson, Walsh and
Pembina Counties.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Drayton.
* Until further notice.
* At 7:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 40.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 38.5 feet Saturday
morning.
* Impact...At 41.3 feet, MN 175 bridge (north of Drayton and south
of Pembina) approaches flood (MN DOT).
Safety message - Turn around, don't drown. Don't travel through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
People living in the Red River basin should monitor river levels
while the river is in, or near, flood.
River forecasts use 24 hours of forecast precipitation between April
1st and October 1st, and 48 hours otherwise. However, depending on
the situation, forecasts may include precipitation expected through
the next 72 hours.

* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
Friday morning and continue falling to 25.0 feet Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 30.0 feet, MODERATE FLOOD.
