Waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 500 PM EDT.
* At 359 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10 nm
southwest of Bonita Beach to 12 nm west of Naples to near Marco
Island, moving west at 5 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
Naples, Vanderbilt Beach, Bonita Shores and Marco Island.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

At 414 PM EDT, a thunderstorm with heavy rain was located near
Boydton, or 15 miles south of Chase City, moving east at 15 mph.
Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches and wind gusts around 30 mph are
possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
South Hill, Brodnax, La Crosse, Boydton, Beechwood, John H Kerr Dam,
Forksville, Richardson, Bracey, Keats, Eppes Fork, John H Kerr
Reservoir, Baskerville, Palmer Springs and Lake Gaston.
If you see lightning or hear thunder, you are at risk! Take shelter
indoors immediately. If you cannot find shelter in a building a
vehicle provides safety from lightning.
If you are on or near Kerr Reservoir, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike more than
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to a safe shelter.

road closures across central Monmouth County. Up to two inches of
rain have already fallen. The heaviest rain has moved out of the
warned area, but some light to moderate rain showers will continue
for the next couple of hours.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage
and low lying areas.

At 327 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles south of Kewaunee to Two Creeks to 9 miles
northeast of Manitowoc, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
south central Kewaunee and northeastern Manitowoc Counties, including
the following locations... Mishicot, Norman, Kewaunee Power Station,
Point Beach State Park, Fisherville, Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Tisch
Mills, Birchwood, East Krok and Larrabee.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Palatka, Interlachen, East Palatka, George's Lake, Florahome,
Bostwick, Orange Mills, Orange Springs, Bardin and Hollister.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

At 436 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of showers and
thunderstorms, capable of producing heavy rain and winds to around
30 knots. These showers and thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 nm southwest of Long Island Sound to near
Westhampton Beach to 30 nm southwest of Dering Harbor, moving east
at 35 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

Heber-Overgaard, Holbrook, Kayenta, Kykotsmovi, Snowflake-

Fredonia, Grand Canyon, Jacob Lake, North Rim, Page, Prescott,

At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 14 nm south of Sanibel to 12 nm
southwest of Chokoloskee to Middle Cape Sable, moving west at 20
knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
Report severe weather to the coast guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
