At 610 PM MDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
North Browning, or 27 miles west of Cut Bank, moving north at 40 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include...
Starr School.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They can relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Great Falls.

Coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee FL out 20 NM...
At 810 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 15 nm west of Northwest Cape
Sable to near Bradley Key, moving south at 10 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday,
June 28 and continue falling to 42.3 feet Saturday, July 11.
* Impact...At 54.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red
River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps
and river bottom land will be under water. Water approaches Angola
farm land.

35 mph.

storm.

Browning, South Browning, North Browning and Starr School.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 2 between mile markers 216 and 244.
Highway 89 between mile markers 1 and 5, and between mile markers 94
and 110.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 854 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 55 nm east of Triumph Reef to 27
nm northeast of Floyd's Wall Northeast. The thunderstorms were nearly
stationary.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in

cuts off 40 to 50 homes. On the Florida side, the lower end of St.

cuts off access to 20 to 30 homes. The Stokes Road Bridge over the
river is generally closed due to high water.

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Valley County in northeastern Montana...
* Until 800 PM MDT.
* At 657 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles west of
Duck Creek Rec Area, or 15 miles southwest of Glasgow, moving north
at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Glasgow, Fort Peck, Fort Peck Marina, Tampico, Hinsdale, Duck Creek
Rec Area, St. Marie, Vandalia, The Bentonite Plant and Whatley.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
