Sustained southeast winds around 30 knots with a few higher gusts
will continue across the coastal waters, extending 40 nautical
miles from American Samoa,through Sunday.
Near gale force wind gusts and elevated choppy seas over 12 feet,
could capsize or damage vessels and frequent showers could reduce
visibility.
Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous
conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or
secure the vessel for severe wind and seas.

At 503 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Homa Hills, which is 10 miles northwest of Casper, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.
This strong thunderstorm will be near...
Antelope Hills around 520 AM MDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Edness K Wilkins State
Park, Fort Caspar Campground, Central Wyoming Fairgrounds,
Casper-Natrona County International Airport, Casper Natural Gas
Processing Plant and Casper Events Center.
This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 180 and 211.

At 708 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 10 nm east of Triumph Reef
to 10 nm east of Pacific Reef to 8 nm east of Carysfort Reef Light to
near Barnes Sound, moving east at 5 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Convoy Point, Turkey Point, Card Sound, Key Biscayne, Biscayne Bay,
Pacific Reef, Black Point, Cape Florida, Virginia Key, Soldier Key,
Miami Beach, Elliott Key, Triumph Reef, Coral Gables and North Bay
Village.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
