At 713 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding has been observed near Pennsboro at the
intersection of Bonds Creek Road and Route 74.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Doppler radar.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Pennsboro and Mountain.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Hettinger and northwestern Adams Counties.

Queens Reservoir.
If on or near Neeoshe Reservoir or Queens Reservoir, get out of the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can

Douglasville...moving south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind...up to penny sized hail...frequent
cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.
Some locations in the path of this storm include
Douglasville, Villa Rica, Palmetto, Chattahoochee Hills, Winston,
Lake Val-Do-Mar, Hannah, Campbellton, Chapel Hill, Bill Arp and
Fairplay.
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
