South Mills, moving northeast at 20 mph.
Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph are possible with this shower.
Locations impacted include...
South Mills, Morgans Corner, Burnt Mills, Horseshoe, Lynchs Corner,
Pierceville, Nicanor, Sharon, Lilly, Johnsons Corner and Whiteston.
If you see lightning or hear thunder, you are at risk! Take shelter
indoors immediately. If you cannot find shelter in a building a
vehicle provides safety from lightning.
Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of this shower. Be
prepared for rapid changes in weather and road conditions. Heavy rain
could cause ponding of water on roads, and possible minor flooding of
ditches and poor drainage areas.

along a line extending from near Keosauqua to 9 miles southwest of
Wayland. Movement was east at 10 mph.
Pea size hail is possible with these storms. Rainfall of 1 inch is
likely as these storms move through.
Locations impacted include...
Kahoka, Keosauqua, Wayland, Bonaparte, Stockport, Wyaconda, Cantril,
Luray, Granger, Bentonsport/Vernon, Croton, St. Francisville, Leando,
Douds, Winchester, Farmington, Revere, Mount Sterling, Gregory
Landing and Clark County Fairgrounds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms. Minor
flooding of low lying areas, creeks, streams and urban areas is
possible. If you encounter water over a roadway, do not drive through

The Flood Warning extended for
The Tar River At Greenville.
* from this evening until further notice.
* At 9 AM Friday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to
rise to near 17.2 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Water inundates some secondary roads near
the river. Much of River Park North is flooded. Water approaches
and surrounds homes at the east end of River Drive in Greenville.
Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur
in automobiles when people try to drive through flooded areas.

the Big Hole River near Melrose.
* From this afternoon to late Sunday night.
* At 7:15 AM MDT Friday the stage was 5.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 6.3 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 6.2 feet, At 6.2 Feet on the Big Hole River...water
starts to come out of its bank and affect a home/driveway near
Glen. Look at staff gauge GNLM8...that should be around 6.5 feet
on the Big Hole River near Glen for flooding around Glen. (June
2017)
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.3
feet on 05/21/1969.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

* At 844 AM CDT, emergency management and law enforcement reported
that several county roads remain inundated. Rainfall amounts of
four to seven inches occurred across the area over the last 24
hours, with some localized amounts that were even higher. As a
result, considerable runoff will contribute to continued flooding
today.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Beatrice, Fairbury, Wilber, Wymore, De Witt, Plymouth, Blue
Springs, Odell, Diller, Western, Clatonia, Pickrell, Daykin,
