east at 15 knots.
Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

At 1238 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of thunderstorms
over Concord, or near Lexington, moving northeast at 25 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will accompany these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Cambridge, Lynn, Somerville, Waltham, Malden, Medford, Revere,
Peabody, Arlington, Salem, Billerica, Beverly, Woburn, Andover,
Lexington, Tewksbury, North Andover, Melrose, Saugus and Danvers.
Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses. Avoid low lying
areas near small streams.
Frequent lightning was occurring. Lightning can strike far away from
the storm. Go inside a building or vehicle. Wait at least 30 minutes
until after the storm has passed to resume outdoor activities.

At 1152 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Winthrop, or
17 miles northeast of New Ulm, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Gaylord, Winthrop, Lafayette and New Sweden.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

At 1253 AM EDT/1153 PM CDT/, radar indicated strong thunderstorms
were located along a line extending from 8 miles north of
Campbellsville to 10 miles southwest of Liberty. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Liberty, Campbellsville, Lebanon, Raywick, Mintonville, Teddy,
Gilpin, Arista, South Campbellsville and Calvary.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
