NWS Reno NV
Winter Weather Advisory issued November 17 at 3:15PM PST until November 18 at 6:00PM PST by NWS Reno NV
* CHANGES...None.
* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow expected for locations above 5500 feet.
Total snow accumulations of up to one inch, except up to 6
inches west and southwest of Susanville above 6000 feet. Peak
snowfall rates expected for Tuesday evening through Wednesday
morning.
* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Tuesday to 6 PM PST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous road conditions, especially over
Fredonyer Pass, Hwy 44, and Hwy 139 Wednesday. Strong winds
could cause tree damage and blowing snow, reducing visibility at
times Tuesday evening.
Even light snowfall causes major travel delays, especially during
periods of high traffic volume. Be sure to allow extra time to
reach your destination. Leave extra space between vehicles since
it takes longer to stop on slick roadways.
The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

NWS Miami FL
Coastal Flood Statement issued November 17 at 6:23PM EST until November 18 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Miami FL
* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
For the isolated minor coastal flooding.
* WHERE...Coastal Broward, Coastal Palm Beach and Coastal Miami-
Dade Counties.
* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Friday evening.
For the minor coastal flooding, through Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low-lying lots, parks,
and roadways may occur near the coast line. Temporary closure
of some coastal roads possible, especially during high tide.
Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks
will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under
fixed bridges. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers
away from shore into deeper water.
Do not drive through flooded roadways.
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

NWS Miami FL
Rip Current Statement issued November 17 at 6:23PM EST until November 20 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Miami FL

Winter Weather Advisory issued November 17 at 3:30PM PST until November 18 at 6:00PM PST by NWS Reno NV
* CHANGES...None.
* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow expected for locations above 5500 feet.
Total snow accumulations of up to one inch, except up to 6
inches west and southwest of Susanville above 6000 feet. Peak
snowfall rates expected for Tuesday evening through Wednesday
morning.
* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.
The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

heaviest squalls. These will continue on-and-off across the area
through 8 PM EST.
Locations impacted include...
Utica, Clay, Rome, Cicero, Lysander, Sullivan, Oneida, Kirkland,
Lenox and Baldwinsville.
Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
