Minor flooding is forecast.
The Flood Warning continues for
the Neuse River Near Goldsboro.
* Until Sunday afternoon.
* At 4:15 AM EST Saturday the stage was 19.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 4:15 AM EST Saturday was 21.2 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to continue falling and will drop
below flood stage late tonight.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Water overflows the banks at the SR1915
bridge and upstream of the US117 bridge.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet, Ferry Bridge Road begins to flood.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Arrington Bridge Road and access roads
around Seymour Johnson Air Force Base flood.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Riverview Trailer Park homes and Stevens
Mill Road begin to flood.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.1
feet on 11/19/2018.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
