* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents.
* WHERE...Coastal Broward, Coastal Palm Beach and Coastal Miami-
Dade Counties.
* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

At 148 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated a shower, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. This shower was located 23 nm east of
Hallandale, moving west at 20 knots.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
