Special Weather Statement issued November 22 at 12:37AM CST by NWS Brownsville TX
Satellite images and surface observations indicate patchy dense
fog developing across portions of the Rio Grande Valley late
tonight. Visibilities were reduced to a mile in general with
isolated areas reduced to a quarter of a mile. If the patchy dense
fog increases in area...a Dense Fog Advisory will be needed for
portions of deep south Texas early Sunday morning.
Motorists should drive with caution as visibilities may change
rapidly in a short amount of time. Use low beam headlights and
leave extra distance between your vehicle and others on the road
when encountering areas of dense fog.
