NWS Denver CO
Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 6:38PM MDT until April 27 at 9:45PM MDT by NWS Denver CO
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a
* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
Southeastern Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
Southwestern Phillips County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 945 PM MDT.
* At 638 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the
advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is causing small stream
flooding, swollen creeks and water running over roads.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Highland Center and St Petersburg.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.
