At 904 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas
will cause minor flooding in Near the Gila River. Between 0.25 and
0.75 inches of rain have fallen.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Buckeye, Sundad, Painted Rock Dam, Paloma, Hyder, Hassayampa and
Arlington.
Near the Gila River is the most likely place to experience minor
flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

At 1214 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a
thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This
thunderstorm was located near East Turtle Shoal Light, moving north
at 15 knots.
Locations that will be affected include...
Sprigger Bank Light, Channel Key Pass Light, Bonefish Tower,
Tennessee Reef Light, Toms Harbor, Vaca Cut Daybeacon 13 and Long Key
Viaduct.
Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

At 1219 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a shower, capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots. This shower was located 10 nm
east of Fort Pierce Inlet, moving northwest at 20 knots. Additional
showers are present offshore of the Treasure Coast waters and will
drift towards the coast.
Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally
higher waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this
storm passes.
This a shower will likely produce winds to around 30 knots, and could
pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning may
eventually be required when this storm reaches the nearshore waters.
Boaters should consider heading for shore before the storm arrives.

At 1221 PM EDT, The heavy rain has ended across the warned area. Up
to 2 inches or more of rain have fallen. Flooding is ongoing at Cobb
Creek Road in Sod which is closed due to high water with at least 1
stranded vehicle (reported by local 911 center). Other roads may
have been affected as well.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
South Charleston, Alum Creek, Julian, Tornado, Sod, Woodville,
Alkol, Yawkey and Griffithsville.
This includes the following highways...
Route 119 between mile markers 58 and 72.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* At 1156 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waynesboro, Collinwood and Lutts.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
