At 500 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sugartown to near Ragley. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kinder, Elizabeth, Reeves, Dry Creek, Pitkin, Sugartown, Mittie,
Ragley, De Quincy, Grant, Longville, Buller, Harmony, Fullerton,
Topsy, Gillis, Tulla, Leblanc, Cravens and Union Hill.

15 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Haines, Haines Highway, Skagway, Dyea, and the
Klondike Highway to White Pass.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to 6 PM AKST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Wet snow may be
difficult to manage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of heavy snow is expected
across Upper Lynn Canal from Thursday morning through Friday
evening. Expect areas near sea level to transition to rain
Friday afternoon. Confidence is lower regarding the exact
timing of the change over to rain. An earlier or later
transition time may effect total snowfall amounts at sea level.
