Haugan, or 15 miles southwest of Thompson Falls, moving east at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain, winds in excess of 30 mph and half-inch size
hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Haugan, De Borgia, St. Regis, Saltese and Weeksville.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90 between mile markers 7 and 38.
Highway 200 W near mile marker 52, and between mile markers 62 and
71.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Western Pasadena, South Houston, Bellaire, West University
Place, Galena Park, Jacinto City, Greater Eastwood, Downtown

At 957 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms were moving to
the southeast away from Furnace Creek Wash and toward SR127 and
Shoshone. Between 0.75 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in Furnace
Creek Wash near Dantes View. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings,
normally dry washes and roads.

Furnace Creek Wash Road near Dantes View, SR190 to Furnace Creek
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
