HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. Torrential
downpours.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Strong winds could cause minor damage such as downed
branches. Little to no impact from hail is expected.
Locations impacted include...
Chicopee, Holyoke, Amherst, Northampton, Ludlow, South Hadley,
Easthampton, Belchertown, Ware, Granby, Barre, Hadley, North
Brookfield, West Brookfield, Hardwick, Oakham, Pelham, Petersham, New
Braintree and New Salem.
Get indoors when you hear thunder. Do not resume outdoor activities

rainfall is expected over east central parts of the Hermits Peak
Calf Canyon Burn Scar.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Mexico, including the following
counties, Mora and San Miguel.
* WHEN...Until 200 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows
over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1156 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
flooding. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding. Hazardous water levels will impact Rito Cebolla,
Canada de Rocio, and Manuelitas Creek.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tierra Monte, Ledoux, Sapello, South Carmen, Manuelitas and
Golondrinas.
- This includes the following highways...
State Road 94 between Mile Markers 2 and 15.
State Road 518 near Mile Marker 12...and
between Mile Markers 17 and 21.
State Road 276 near Mile Marker 0.
State Road 105 between Mile Markers 0 and 4.
