NWS San Angelo TX
Special Weather Statement issued February 4 at 1:07AM CST by NWS San Angelo TX
Satellite images and surface observations indicate areas of
fog...some locally dense...continue to develop across portions of
the northwest Hill Country and the Heartland late tonight.
Visibilities will be reduced to 1 to 3 miles in general with
isolated areas reduced to a quarter of a mile. In
addition...temperatures are falling to near freezing across the
area and some patchy freezing fog may develop across the area as a
result. Light ice accumulations are possible especially across
exposed surfaces and bridges.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you. Also, be alert for frost on bridge decks
causing slippery roads.
