Special Weather Statement issued February 4 at 5:30AM CST by NWS Brownsville TX
Satellite imagery and surface observations indicate that areas of
fog are developing over portions of the Northern Ranchlands and
the Rio Grande Plains at this time.
The fog is reducing visibilities to between 2 and 4 miles, with
isolated pockets of dense fog reducing the visibility to one
quarter of a mile or less.
Motorists are urged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and
avoid tailgating in any fog through the next few hours.

NWS Fairbanks AK
Blizzard Warning issued February 4 at 2:58AM AKST until February 4 at 3:00PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
around one inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...St Lawrence Island and Bering Strait Coast.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST today.
* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce
visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely difficult.
