Goodfellow Air Force Base, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
San Angelo, Mereta, Veribest, Wall, Vancourt, Twin Buttes Reservoir,
Lake Nasworthy, Eola, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Vick, Harriet and

* WHAT...Flooding caused by upstream dam release continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the
following county, Maricopa.
* WHEN...Until 500 PM MST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Lowland flooding and inundation of unbridged crossings
will occur along the Gila River downstream of Painted Rock Dam.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 703 AM MST, water releases from Painted Rock Dam continue
to remain steady. These releases will continue to make
unbridged river crossings impassable and may inundate some
farm fields between the dam and Agua Caliente near the
Maricopa and Yuma County line.
- Roads impacted include: Poco Dinero Road, Rocky Point Road,
and South Oatman Road.
- Some locations adjacent to the Gila River that will
experience flooding include...
mainly rural areas of Maricopa County downstream of Painted
Rock Dam.

traveling through Yuma County, with a USGS gauge in Dateland
indicating flows at 8.4 feet, which is near minor flood stage
(9 feet). These elevated flows will continue to flood
unbridged river crossings and may inundate some farmland.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Irion and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 922 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms...from south of Mertzon to just east of San
Angelo to Wall and Veribest. Movement was quickly southeast
at 35 mph. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. 0.55 inches has fallen at
the weather service office in San Angelo at 925 AM. While
the heaviest rain has passed east of San Angelo, it will take
an hour for flooded streets and low water crossings to drain.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Angelo, Mertzon, Christoval, Twin Buttes Reservoir,
Tankersley, Lake Nasworthy, Knickerbocker, San Angelo State
Park, O.c. Fisher Reservoir, Arden, Goodfellow Air Force
Base, Grape Creek, Sherwood, Carlsbad, Wall, Water Valley,
Veribest, Orient, Vancourt and Mereta.

producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 30
nm southeast of Floyd's Wall Northeast, moving northeast at 10 knots.
The thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

* At 934 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Saint Peter.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
Jackson Branch, North Fork Saline River, Brush Creek, Happy Creek,
South Fork Solomon River and Saline River.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of California and Nevada, including the following
areas, in California, Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Lassen-Eastern
Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties, Mono County and Surprise Valley
California. In Nevada, Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Greater
Reno-Carson City-Minden Area, Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties,
Northern Washoe County and Western Nevada Basin and Range
including Pyramid Lake.
* WHEN...From 1 PM PDT this afternoon through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow moving thunderstorms will produce areas of heavy
rainfall today. Soils are already saturated with creeks,
streams, and rivers running full due to ongoing snowmelt. It
will not take as much rain to cause excessive runoff and
potential flooding issues today.
