- At 805 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northern Lawrence, Lecompton and Williamstown.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of the Beaver River and its tributaries and
other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring
in the warned area.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 909 AM EDT,gauge reports indicate the Beaver River is
nearing 6 feet. Continued runoff from recent heavy rains into
the river are expected to bring the river's crest to near or
above 6 feet.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Croghan, Kirschnerville, Belfort, Soft Maple Reservoir and
Beaver Falls.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

- At 846 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
0.2 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen so far this morning.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Chillicothe, Brookfield, Carrollton, Marceline, Norborne,
Bucklin, Meadville, Hale, Laclede, Bosworth, Linneus,

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Stockton Lake, Ash Grove, Greenfield, Miller, Walnut Grove, Everton,

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kansas and west central Missouri,
including the following counties, in northeast Kansas, Wyandotte.
In west central Missouri, Clay, Jackson and Platte.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 855 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kansas City, Independence, Shawnee, Liberty, Gladstone,
Bonner Springs, Parkville, Basehor, Edwardsville, North
Kansas City, Sugar Creek, Riverside, Claycomo, Kansas City
Kansas, Pleasant Valley, Avondale, Northmoor, Houston Lake
and River Bend.
