Special Weather Statement issued May 6 at 2:59AM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY
Areas of fog will continue across portions of the Niagara
Frontier through the wee hours of the morning. Visibility may be
reduced to a half mile or less at times. The fog will be most
persistent close to Lake Erie and the Niagara River, including
Buffalo and Niagara Falls. The fog is expected to mostly dissipate
prior to the start of the morning commute as drier air moves into
the region.
