At 1001 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rockerville to 4 miles northwest of Red
Shirt Table Overlook. Movement was north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

near Sissonville. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs or even trees, and
blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Ripley, Sissonville, Sandyville, Kenna, Statts Mills, Harmony, Given,
Kentuck, Liberty, Walton, Cottageville, Evans, Leroy, Fairplain, Gay,
and Gandeeville.
This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 114
and 150, and between mile markers 152 and 157.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1229 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Peak Creek, West Fork Pine Swamp Creek, Beaver Creek, Obids
Creek, Naked Creek, Roten Creek, South Fork New River and Dog
Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

extending from 4 miles east of Jennings to 8 miles southwest of
Morland to 6 miles southwest of Quinter, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
