rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry washes. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 815 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms over the Catalinas
and northern to central Tucson. This will cause urban and
small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain is
expected.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Sutherland Wash, Ventana Canyon Wash, Agua Caliente Wash,
Alder Wash, Esperero Wash, Rillito River, Sabino Creek,
Tanque Verde Wash, Pantano Wash, Buehman Canyon, Bird Canyon.

miles south of Wild Horse Point, or 31 miles north of La Junta,
moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Blue Lake and Arlington.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
