At 308 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 12 miles southeast of Gordon, moving southeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, Highway 61 crossing the
Snake River, Intersection of Highway 20 and Irwin Road, Rock Hill,
Bayonne, and Morgan Lake.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 20 between mile markers 110 and 121.
Highway 61 between mile markers 190 and 210.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

At 445 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Swett to 13 miles east of
Gordon. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Merriman, Highway 61 crossing the Snake River, Morgan Lake, Highway
61 Crossing The Niobrara River, Irwin, Intersection of Highway 61 and
Shadbolt Road, Intersection of Highway 20 and Irwin Road, and
Bayonne.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 20 between mile markers 115 and 138.
Highway 61 between mile markers 189 and 231.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

waterspouts was located over Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula,
or near Petit Bois Pass, moving northeast at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
Dauphin Island Bridge, Western Dauphin Island, Mississippi Sound
East Of Pascagoula, Heron Bay, Portersville Bay, Alabama Port, and
Central Dauphin Island.
Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak
waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located near
Horn Island, moving northeast at 10 knots.
Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
