Special Weather Statement issued January 8 at 10:02PM EST by NWS Charleston WV
Snow showers will continue to move across portions of the Middle
Ohio Valley and northern and central West Virginia during the
overnight hours. Heavier showers may cause brief, but sharp
reductions in visibility, as well as light accumulations on area
roadways. These hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
morning commute.
Motorists should be advised of the potential for rapidly changing
road and visibility conditions. Roads, and especially bridges and
overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous.
