* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Farmlands and
timberlands adjacent to the river in Roanoke Rapids flood.
Property on the farmlands may be at risk from floodwaters.
At 10.0 feet, The public boat ramp on Rockfish Ln in Weldon is
flooded.

- At 8:00 AM EST Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Ward Lake near areas near the Ward Lake Recreational Area.
* WHEN...Until noon AKST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 444 AM AKST, river gauge reports indicate rises in water
levels from heavy rain in areas near the Ward Lake
recreational area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly, especially near Ward Lake. Additional rainfall
amounts of 0.75 to 1 inch are possible.

shift westerly. Some fog may be locally dense with visibility
