* WHAT...Blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibilities reduced as
low as one quarter mile.
* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula.
* WHEN...Until midnight AKST tonight.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing
snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures below freezing on the Bering
Sea side of the Alaska Peninsula are allowing blowing snow to
significantly reduce visibility. Communities likely to see
visibility one half mile or lower at times include False Pass,
Cold Bay, and Nelson Lagoon. The worst conditions are expected
for Cold Bay. Conditions improve late this evening as
temperatures warm and snowfall rates decrease.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.

NWS Tiyan GU
Coastal Flood Statement issued March 2 at 2:10PM ChST until March 3 at 3:00PM ChST by NWS Tiyan GU
* WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding expected.
* WHERE...North and east facing shores of Majuro.
* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Some water and debris on low lying roads and property
near the shore.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be elevated through Monday due to
the current new moon phase. Also, a couple pulses of long-period
northerly swell will move through the area through Monday, mixing
with the primary northeast to east swell affecting the region.
Together, the elevated tides and swell will increase water levels
along north and east facing shores that face the open ocean,
increasing the potential of some minor splash-up and inundation,
especially during high tide.
Watch out for any debris that may be washed up onto low lying
roads and property near north and east facing shores.

elevated surf of 3 to 6 feet expected. Highest surf on west-
facing beaches.
* WHERE...Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip
