Patchy dense fog is reducing visibility to around one-quarter
mile along and north of HWY 200 and west of the Red River Valley
this morning. Dense fog has been observed at Devils Lake, Langdon,
and Cooperstown. Travelers should be prepared for rapidly
deteriorating visibility, and to use extra caution at
intersections, railroad crossings, and school bus stops. The fog
is expected to improve by mid to late morning.

* WHAT...The Winter Weather Advisory has been cancelled. Snow
showers have ended across the Western Mogollon Rim. For Thursday,
heavy snow expected above 6000 feet. Total snow accumulations
between 3 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Western Mogollon Rim.
* WHEN...From noon Thursday to 5 AM MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Travel is not recommended as
heavy snowfall and low visibility will create dangerous driving

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3
feet above 4000 feet and up to 4 feet on the highest elevations.
Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.
* WHERE...The Sierra Nevada, including Yosemite Valley.
* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and
evening commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
